Environmentally Sustainable Flooring Options

We offer a range of flooring products that let our clients embrace corporate sustainability in their homes and workplaces. In addition to their sustainable origins, these green products often have a longer lifespan than their synthetic counterparts, resulting in less waste going to the landfill.

• Marmoleum has been manufactured for over 130 years. Its all-natural composition is made of linseed oil, wood flour, and pine resins with a jute backing. Available in a wide array of colors, it is often coined the “40-year floor.” Marmoleum is available in sheets and is easy to install.

• Cork is harvested from the cork oak trees, predominantly in Portugal. The bark can be sustainably harvested every nine years, leaving the trees intact. Cork provides a warm, soft surface and is ideal for bedrooms and other areas. There are glue-down tile and floating floor options.

• Hardwood is a timeless and beautiful flooring option. Solid wood and engineered wide planks often come from sustainable sources, even those that are FSC-certified.

• Wool Carpet is a beautiful and natural choice for areas where a soft and sound-absorbing surface is desired. Wool has many inherent advantages, such as resilience, air conditioning qualities, and low energy use to manufacture. It is also biodegradable and rapidly renewable.
