Bathroom Flooring + Tile Showcase
Let’s get up close with a bathroom remodel so you can see the products selected and how they bring the entire concept together.
The master bathroom you see in the image above was designed by Interior Design Alchemy in Portland, Oregon. The overall look is sleek and calm with clean lines and cool tones. The brass fixtures and drawer pulls tie the warm bedroom floor tones into this space. Notice how the layout of the tile invites a person in from the master bedroom.
The floor features Re-Micron Natural Grey/beige Porcelain tile in a 12×24 format. This particular natural grey/beige color is cool with some warmth.
On the back wall, you see Cepac Rokka 4” hexagon tile in the color “Peacock” – a beautiful blue/green shade that bridges between the strong lines and the circular draw pull and light fixture details.
As you can see from this image, the balance between the two sinks and the mirrors with the three light fixtures is soothing. The mirrors reflect light and add to the feeling of space and calm.
The countertop features Caesarstone in “Fresh Concrete.” As with the floor tile, this color has warmth. It also draws out the bold grout lines around the hexagon tile backsplash.
The left edge of the countertop abuts a walk-in shower with a glass partition through which you can see the bold hexagon tiles.
The shower walls and bench have been tiled with Remicron Natural Grey/beige 12 x 24 Porcelain tile. Notice how the top of the bench slopes toward the drain; this is so that water cannot pool on the surface.
On the shower floor and in the wall niche, you see Cepac Cirque ¾” Penny round tile in color “Denim” which coordinates beautifully with the Cepac Rokka 4” hexagon tile in color “Peacock.”
The end result of these tile selections is a space where one can relax at the end of a busy day, and recharge in anticipation of the day ahead.
